"Soul-destroying lyrics" [Jun. 14th, 2006|11:45 pm]
cooperater
Over the past few days I have compiled lyrics to "The Heart asks pleasure first" section of Michael Nyman's "Dream of a journey" piece. The depressive, sickening and somewhat repulsive lyrics all spilled out onto the computer screen in about ten minutes. All I had to do was to change the number of syllables a few times and they sound great (or not). I am reluctant to post them here, but shall highlight a few things.

Words such as "charred", "hell", "scorched", "drowned" and "cursèd" are used. A sense of ultimate defeat of the mind is described.

The lyrics can be read as a poem or sang as lyrics. Both are designed to be interchangeable.

Our new cat! [Mar. 19th, 2006|10:51 pm]

[mood |happyhappy]

Myself, brother, dad, Sarah and friend's French exchange, Marine, went out to the Woodgreen Animal Shelter which is where cats and other animals are looked after if they had to leave their former homes. There are groups of cats in sort of "exhibits", which you can go into. We saw this cat that we really liked called Kit, and phoned our mum up to see if she would let us have her. She did, even though she has always insisted on not having anymore cats (I have a very unpredictable mum). When we were all home our other cat, Lilly immediately avaoided contact with our new cat (she's such a scaredy-cat). Rachel, Sarah's sister showed me some stuff on her laptop which the rest of the group kept Kit company. The whole day ended with me suddenly remembering that English esay that I had forgotten to write...

[mood |excitedexcited]

After four years of searching, I have finally found someone selling all the digimon episodes from all four series on eBay. I have always liked digimon, but was sad to find that the second series began on fox kids where I missed about the first twenty episodes. Since then, seasons three and four have been broadcast. I'm very pleased that I will soon be able to watch every digimon episode there ever has been and eight movies on 16 separate DVDs. The 205 episdoes total to over four days of continual viewing!!!

Biorhythms [Dec. 6th, 2005|12:10 am]
cooperater
[mood |Depressed, optimistic, amazed]

I've tested five people to prove if biorhythms are real, and all five have been near enough perfect. Now I know why the bad feelings for HJO have flooded back - because all three of my biorhythmic constants hit 100% negative at the same time. I will experience this agonizing depression again in just over 26 years.

The three biorythmic constants - intellect, physique and emotion take different lengths of time to take one "course". When we are born our biorhythms are all set at 0% and then head up to 100%. After reaching the top, they plummet down to -100%. They then rise back up to 100% again. And so the cycle continues Because we are all born with the same set biorythmic paths, our friends' biorythms are always the same difference in position to ours. The closer the difference, the more compatible you are with somebody. My closest friend Rory has an almost identical biorythmic graph as me, whereas Haley Joel Osment is 89% the opposite, making us just 11% compatible. No wonder I envied him so goddamn much!

If you believe in biorythms, then you always know when life will turn you, be it positive or negative. And there's nothing you can do to prevent biorythms - they are imprinted in our minds from birth.

I have nothing better to do right now, so have recently decided to waste time on RuneScape, advancing my smithing and mining. I have already jumped from 53 to 59 smithing and 68 to 71 mining within the past week!

[mood |fullfull]

I was just walking back from school towards the Hertford East train station and saw Dick and Dom in the market square, wearing totally white clothes but all dirty. There was a filming crew and two boom mikes also. It attracted the attention of a lot of us boys walking home!

What a game! Brilliant graphics and pure adventure. I don't know how the people who made this game did, but they were certainly experts in their field.

What, with real-looking people, yes REAL-LOOKING PEOPLE walking around a computerized world, this game is blowing my mind!!! I feel as if I'm really there at some points.

The Eiffel Tower has been destroyed...broken...eradicated...! [Nov. 13th, 2005|11:11 pm]
cooperater
We are sorry if you liked this popular landmark...but it wasn't our fault really. Proving the fact that the capital of New York IS NOT New York City was the cause. A "friend of mine" debated on what the capital of NY was. Now, she seemed pretty certain it was New York City. But of course, the Americans have a strange concept of choosing their state capitals to have abstract names, for example "Little Rock" is the capital of Arkansas...

Anyway, I wanted to go onto a website to prove that the capital of NY was not NYC. This was all going okay, until I found out that my "friend" had previously broken her sister's computer. When we both got it working again, the mouse pointer wouldn't stop clicking on-net. The "friend" decided to go hunting for something which resembled the Eiffel Tower. We couldn't find it, but then we did. (Did that make sense???)

And it fell onto the floor due to our excitement of its arrival. And then we realised what terrible mistake we had made. After a good fifteen minutes of trying to revitallise the Eiffel Tower, we just used a dictionary, which took two seconds (in fact more like a minute, but I'm being exagerative). And of course, right in front of our eyes it was...the capital of New York is ALBANY! My "friend" was so gutted!!!

Yayyyyy! My first post!

Just to let you guys know I am wishing that you cooperate with me and by doing so provide me with all the internal cooperative properties of being a cooperater.

Just a quick list of things you must do/have to be a member of the Cooperation Club:

1. Cooperate - the most neccessary requirement.
2. Don't be uncooperative - no cooperaters accept uncooperative behaviour or unjustified actions towards cooperating.
3. You must be able to cooperate with other members of the Cooperation.
4. If you cannot comply with the above three, we will recoordinate you to cooperate with another cooperative society.

And that's it!!!
